Morlan ; ; Custom Made Order Information;; Custom & special made orders are scheduled and with my current demand for orders, it will be approximately 4 - 5 weeks from the date the down payment {retainer} on the order is made, before I will be able to start making the piece/pieces. ;; For choosing color, I can e-mail JEPG images of the different species of wood available, velvet, stained glass, stain colors, etceteras. ; ; For choosing the font style for engraving, I can e-mail a Microsoft Word document featuring them. ; ; If you desire, I can e-mail JEPG images of the piece before I actually ship it. A very large majority of my clients prefer to wait and see it for the first time in real life when they open the package. ; ; An e-mail is sent with the Federal Express 3 day service tracking number featured in it when the order ships. ; ; Custom Made Order Quote Information;; Quotes are good for 4 months. Example: Quote date is March 9, expires July 9. ; ; Will have the approximate scheduled date to start making and the approximate shipping date. Example: Would be scheduled to be made the week starting September 12, 2006 and would be shipped Federal Express 3 Day service, September 17 - 20, 2006. ; ; All quotes include, insured shipping and handling to you. My standard shipping method is Federal Express 3-Day Service. All pieces are signed, dated and numbered {small pieces on the certificate} and accompanied with a certificate and documents organized in an elegant folder. If being given as a gift, you can add up to 4 special lines of wording of the your choice to the certificate! All quotes also include 3 finish coats of clear marine grade polyurethane spar varnish that is impervious to most liquids including body oils and some mild acids. ;; After a quote is accepted by e-mail, phone or fax it becomes a no signatures written letter of agreement. ; ; Custom Made Order Payment Information;; The way I work custom made or commissioned orders are, I receive 1/2 the total cost as a deposit {retainer} up front and receive the remaining 1/2 when the custom made or commissioned order is finished, you have inspected it and you are satisfied with it. ;; For the deposit {retainer}, I accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover credit cards. I also will accept personal/company checks, cashiers checks, money orders and payments through PayPal. ; ; If a credit card is used for the payment, the deposit {retainer} will be charged out within 24 hours of receiving the credit card information. A receipt will be sent by e-mail. ; ; The remaining 1/2 will be charged out after I have received an e-mail confirmation that you have received, inspected and you are satisfied with it. If I do not receive an e-mail confirmation within 48 hours of your receiving it, I will assume that all is fine and charge out the remaining 1/2 balance. Once check is received, a receipt will be sent by e-mail. ; ; Custom Made Order Warranty Information;; In the 25 years that I have created and handcrafted wood pieces, I have had a minute number that have broken, either by normal usage or by accident. The pieces that have broken, I have fixed either at no charge or for a minimal charge. ; ; Wood is warranted forever, with the following exceptions, exposure to water, high humidity, extreme dryness {low humidity}, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures {below 32 degrees Fahrenheit or above 100 degrees Fahrenheit for extended periods of time}. ; ; "I have owned many of your beautiful items over the years and each one is unique and tells a different story.
